Nikki & Stuart’s Spring Southend Barns Wedding
We knew from the start that Nikki and Stuart’s wedding day at the gorgeous Southend Barns was going to be a day full of love and laughter.
Their choice of formal black tie dinner jacket style balanced with some more informal touches such as the naturally hand tied bouquets, full of seasonal spring flowers, made for a classy yet relaxed affair all set on a gloriously sunny day.
Knowing Southend Barns so well helped us make full use of its wide range of locations to showcase Nikki and Stuart’s dream venue throughout their album. So, following their beautiful ceremony in the Dairy Barn, we headed for the surrounding gardens in which to showcase the newlyweds and capture the essence of their creative vision for the day.
This wall’s shapes along with its simplicity of colour worked beautifully with their choice of black and white outfits whilst Nikki’s bouquet and the warmth of their skin added subtle accents of colour. The natural wild flowers adorning the arches framing their embrace elegantly echo the free form of the bouquet and the delicate petals in the exquisitely embroidered lace detail of Nikki’s dress.

Lucy & Sam’s Autumn Southend Barns Wedding
Remember, Remember a Wedding to Remember! Lucy and Sam tied the knot on a perfectly autumnal Bonfire Night sparking some truly magical inspiration to theme their special day at the stunning Southend Barns.
The weather was wet but nothing could dampen this lovely couple’s heartwarming day as they rolled with nature, embracing every moment come rain or shine. Together we enjoyed mixing their photography up by taking advantage of the breaks in the weather but also harnessing the elements that leant rich earthy tones to the venue’s grounds.
We made use of the dreamy white umbrella to frame Lucy and Sam arm in arm engulfed in lush seasonal greens and rusty hues as they glide down the glassy path on cloud nine, their reflections reaching out ahead of them guiding their way - something they loved when viewing their images.

Becky and Chris’s Spring Southend Barns Wedding
The joy of spring was in the air as Becky and Chris tied the knot at the gorgeous Southend Barns just before Easter - the perfect time of year for a new adventure to begin.
This fun loving couple kept it classy with elegant touches sprinkled throughout the day. Delicate twinkling fairy lights crowned the solid oak beams of the Threshing Barn, classic roses of soft hues were weaved throughout their florals. Becky looked stunning in her intricately buttoned, dreamy lace dress with flowing train and veil and Chris looked sharp in his suit of navy tweed.
Naturally we captured the emotions and atmosphere of this lovely couple’s special day through the morning’s preparations, planned group family photos, moments of mingling during the drinks reception, speech sentiments and dance floor action but equally we made time to capture show-stopping images of the newlyweds alone.
Taking little moments together at different points throughout the day meant that we could move with the bride and groom around the venue, photographing them in the fabulous, versatile and diverse locations throughout. These different scenes create a selection of stand out imagery for their album showcasing their look, personalities and unique relationship together.
